Ben Webb
Where are you from?  Two Harbors, MN

Where do you live now?  Duluth, MN

College/ Major?  Moody Bible Institute: B.A. in Biblical Studies

Coffee or Tea?   Coffee all the way! There's nothing quite like a freshly ground, French
press, Hawaiian coffee!!

Last movie you were disappointed in?   Wow, when was the last time I watched a
movie?? Hmm... Pirates of the Caribbean 2. Definitely not a classic like the first one.

Artist currently playing on your MP3 player or in your CD player?
Shawn MacDonald, "Home" from his Ripen CD.

Camps you have attended?   I never took the opportunity to be a camper... It's amazing
what God will lead us to. I was never a camper, but I'm working at a camp for my
third summe!

Scripture that inspires you?
1 Corinthians 15:58...
"Therefore my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always
give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that
your labor in the Lord is not in vain."

This is a verse that resonates in the deepest part of my heart. God has
placed within me a passion to serve Him in whatever I do. This passion
is foundational to who I am. It is the greatest cry of my heart to be
given FULLY to the work of the Lord. What could be better?

Skiing/ Wakeboarding/ or Tubing?
Wakeboarding. Sad to say, three summers at camp have not given me much
experience on the water. But I have to say that wakeboarding is the bomb!

Favorite Superhero?
Spiderman. My last name is Webb, so everyone at school last year called
me Spidey. Go Spiderman!

Favorite Sport to watch?
Terrain Skateboarding. I used to skate a lot so I love to watch people
do crazy stuff on rails, ramps, and whatever they can find.

Favorite Sport to play?
Volleyball. Come summer come!!

Favorite soda?
Not much of a POP drinker. But I would have to say Pepsi.

My Space or Facebook?
Facebook. Although I have not checked recently.

Favorite candy?
Chocolate. Not that waxy stuff, or even Hershey's. My favorite has got
to be Ghirardelli.

Biblical person you relate to most?
Joseph. He desired to obey God and did His best to honor God in all he
did. However, he still suffered and had to endure painful situations in
blind faith. This last year has been the hardest of my life. There have
been a lot of situations that I simply had to trust that God was not
out to get me even when I obeyed Him.

If you were to see Jesus, which parable would you have Him explain better?
The Shrewd Manager in Luke 16. This one confuses me. Why was the
manager applauded for acting dishonestly? It seems to be saying that we
should use our resources to invest in what is of real value, but I'm
very uncertain about it.

If I see a person fall down I.....
would gasp and my heart would beat faster. If the person was hurt and
needed help, I would assist him or her. If the person was a friend who
had just tripped over his flip-flop and was unhurt, I would probably
laugh!
