September 15, 2007   -   Board votes to hire Krautkremer Construction to build the kitchen.
Sept. 21 -   Former staff working at the Fall Women's Retreat begin removing items from the
kitchen.
Sept. 23 -   Men remove all the equipment from the kitchen and it is prepared for demolition.
Sept. 24  -   Scwartz Excavating begins work on the sept tanks and system.
Sept. 25   -   The kitchen is demolished and the site prepared with fill.
Sept. 27   -   Northland Concrete puts up the forms for the new kitchen and the site is
prepared.
           -   Dan Ruelle, from Shannon's Plumbing, starts installation of the sewer pipes.
Sept. 28    -    Sewer lines are completed & drains installed.  The system survives the air
pressure test.
Sept. 29   -    Dan Ruelle, begins and finishes installing the water lines.
October 1 -   Dan Ruelle and volunteers from the International Falls Covenant Church install
insulation and the in-floor heating system.
-     Northland Concrete prepare the site and order concrete at 3 p.m.  They continue to work
on the cement under night lights until 1 a.m.   
-      Nate Rude prepares the front canopy layout.
October 2   -    Northland lays cement for the walk in refrigerator and freezer, plus the back
apron.  
Oct. 3  -     Northland preps site for the canopy and sidewalk
Oct. 5 -       Krautkremer Construction removes last truss of the old kitchen.
Oct. 10  -   Krautkremer Construction begins building the outside walls.  The trusses arrive.
Oct. 11 -  Built inside walls.
Oct. 12 -  Started to put up the trusses.
Oct. 13 -  Took off rest of old roof in preparation for Mon. and putting on the sheeting.
Oct. 15 -  Sheeted the roof.
Oct. 16-  Built remaining roof line to match the Dining Hall.
Oct. 17-  Added ice & rain and tar paper to roof.
End Oct.  Walls built, electrical and plumbing being roughed in, shingles added
Beginning of November:  Facia and Soffit added, windows and doors installed, skylight
windows added, duct work for furnaces.
Middle of November:  Continued work on Electrical, Backer added, Duct work added
December:  Electrical inspection completed, Hood for ovens installed, Make-up Air Unit
installed on roof, Insulation begun, Dry Wall being installed, Furnace hook up completed
Early Jan.-  Mudding and Taping of the drywall.
Mid- Feb.-  Installation of FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced) on the walls.
Late Feb.- Refridgerator & Freezer installed.  Lighting installed. Tile being laid.
Early March-  Custom Stainless Steel equipment being installed.  Finishing the tile work.
